Why Use Our In-Office Specialty Pharmacy?

Navigating external specialty pharmacies or mail-order services can cause delays and frustration. Our integrated dispensing program ensures your treatment begins as quickly and smoothly as possible.

  • Faster Start to Treatment: By handling your prescription directly within our clinic, we eliminate the delays, lost shipments, and administrative hold-ups common with third-party mail-order pharmacies.
  • Dedicated Financial Navigation: Advanced oral oncology medications can carry high out-of-pocket costs. Our dedicated insurance specialists handle all prior authorizations and connect you with co-pay assistance cards, manufacturer grants, and non-profit patient assistance foundations.
  • Direct Clinical Support: Our clinical team monitors your lab work, checks for drug interactions with your existing medications, and helps you proactively manage side effects.
  • Convenient Delivery & Pickup: Choose to pick up your medications directly at your clinic appointment or have them discreetly delivered to your home.
  • Refill Tracking & Adherence: We track your refills and proactively reach out before you run low, ensuring you never miss a dose.

Oral Prostate Cancer Therapies We Provide

Our in-office pharmacy specializes in advanced oral targeted therapies (Androgen Receptor Pathway Inhibitors and hormone synthesis blockers) used to treat advanced, recurrent, or metastatic prostate cancer:

Medication Name Brand Name Primary Use in Prostate Cancer
Abiraterone Acetate Zytiga® Blocks testosterone production in the testicles, adrenal glands, and tumor tissue (taken with prednisone).
Enzalutamide Xtandi® Prevents testosterone from binding to prostate cancer cell receptors to slow tumor growth.
Apalutamide Erleada® Blocks androgen receptors in non-metastatic or metastatic hormone-sensitive disease.
Darolutamide Nubeqa® Advanced receptor inhibitor with low central nervous system penetration, reducing fatigue and cognitive side effects.

Supportive therapies, including bone-protecting agents and low-dose corticosteroids, are also coordinated through our team.

Diagnostic Evaluation

When you visit our clinic with suspected kidney stones, we perform quick, precise evaluations:

  1. Low-Dose Non-Contrast CT Scan: The gold standard imaging test to accurately pinpoint the stone’s exact size, location, and hardness.
  2. Ultrasound & X-Ray: Used for quick evaluation or monitoring known stones without radiation.
  3. Urinalysis & Blood Work: Checking for signs of infection, blood, kidney function, and uric acid or calcium levels.
