How the No-Scalpel Vasectomy Works
During a vasectomy, the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles (the vas deferens) are gently accessed, divided, and sealed. This prevents sperm from mixing into the ejaculate.
- Gentle Numbing: A local anesthetic is applied to numb the scrotal area completely, ensuring a pain-free procedure.
- Micro-Access: Rather than making traditional surgical cuts, a specialized tool creates a single tiny puncture (less than a quarter-inch) in the skin.
